A bold new identity for a family-owned outdoor service built around hard work, personality, and a few details that make it their own.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Chandler Outdoor Solutions needed an identity that felt professional without looking like every other lawn care company.

I wanted to build something bold, simple, and recognizable that could work just as well on a shirt or yard sign as it could on a business card or social post. Instead of using the typical greens, leaves, and landscaping graphics, I took the brand in a more rugged direction that better matched the hands-on nature of the work.

Primary Logo

The primary badge brings the glove, shovel, name, and circular shape together into one mark that can act as the main face of the brand.

Secondary Logos

I built out a few supporting versions of the logo so the identity could adapt depending on the space, size, and application.

FROM THE IDEA TO THE MARK

Breaking Down the Logo

The logo was built from a few simple ideas that connect back to the business, the work, and the person behind it.

The Glove

The work glove gives the mark its hands-on, hardworking feel while connecting it to outdoor service without relying on the usual grass, leaves, or landscaping imagery.

The Hidden Sun

A small sun is worked into the details of the glove as a personal nod to the client's son. It adds meaning to the logo without becoming the main focus or making the mark feel overly complicated.

The Shovel

The shovel makes the connection to outdoor work immediate. I kept the shape bold and simple so it would still read clearly whether the logo was printed large on a sign or small on a shirt.

BOLD, SIMPLE, RECOGNIZABLE

Color Palette

The orange, black, and white palette was inspired by the Philadelphia Flyers, the owner's favorite team. It gave the brand a personal connection while also helping it stand out from the greens and earth tones used by a lot of lawn care and outdoor service companies.

BUILT FOR THE REAL WORLD

More Than a Logo

The identity needed to work beyond a logo file, so I carried it across the kinds of things the business would actually use. From shirts and hats to yard signs and work vehicles, the goal was to keep the brand recognizable whether the full badge or one of the simpler marks was being used.
